7 Ways To Make 2018 Your Year.

New Year - New Goals: How predictable it was to see those cliche 'new year new me' status running up and down my timeline. One thing for certain, 2018 is going to be all about setting ourselves up for emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical success/ So for me, it's New Year New Goals. So why not try these seven (7) ways to make 2018 your year. Little things can make a big difference, and these small changes are no exception.

This year is going to be the year to put your own needs first! Don't just say "LOL" if you know you don't want to do it, say: "I Said What I Said!" and mean it!

1) Reduce stress: Darling, ain't nobody got time for stress! They say that stress is one of the biggest killers out there, and it can have a very destructive effect on your relationships as well as your health.

If you have a lot of stress in your life, find ways to reduce them which will lead to a much happier and fruitful 2018. Take control of your time and how you spend it, this way you can effectively reduce stress. Remember: Stress is how you respond to a situation - find new ways of responding.

2) . Become more confident - take chances:

A good dose of self-confidence will help you lead a much happier life overall. Don’t hesitate to get some input on ways to boost your confidence. I didn't mind sharing many of my dreams and aspirations with others. Sadly, not everyone believed in them, but those people were irrelevant to my main goal - Own Your Dream And Run With It!

3. Read more: 

Books are an excellent way to gain knowledge on a huge variety of topics, and are also a great exercise for your brain. Until recently, I hated reading, but for the past year I love books that peeks my interest. You can practice by finding your type of books and find a bit of time for reading here and there.

4. Exercise!

Even moderate exercise releases chemicals in your brain that lift your mood. Exertion helps you sleep better, generate more energy and keep a healthy heart. As an actor, I sometimes get exhausted. But, I still exercise for energy and vitality, which I find leads to a healthier lifestyle overall. Choose an exercise you enjoy. If it helps, do it with a friend or listen to music.

5. Enjoy yourself

Try to see the funny side of situations and you'll often be able to cope better. Jokes have a way of making worries seem less important. Do the things YOU love: explore, travel, write, meet new people... I am a simple chill person, just need a good vybz, nice music, sit back, relax and enjoy myself!

6. Learn how to dress with style: 

The way you dress can say a lot about you, and wearing the right clothes can make you seem (and feel) powerful and confident, which in turn can help you land a job, get promoted, and catch the eye of a lovely guy or girl. No matter if you’re male, female or unidentified. Know the dress code - and live with style.

7. Make meaningful connections: 

There is just too little time in this life for us to waste it on insincere, duplicitous and toxic people. Health professionals at the Aspen Ideas Festival recently spoke about how an increasing amount of people feel lonely, which takes a toll on their mental and physical health. While you can have many friends and still feel lonely, talking about your feelings with others can provide social support.
